Gary Dana
GARY DANA wears several hats in the Cabaret. He has been the Director of the Long Island Cabaret Theater since 1995 and added the role of Producer in the early 2000's. Gary's love for entertaining shines through during every show and we all look forward to seeing what his next creation will be.
Musical Director
Sid Cherry
SID CHERRY has worked as a musician and musical director on and off-Broadway, in New York’s major cabaret venues and in numerous regional theatres. As composer/lyricist of the musical “The Molly Maguires” he has been awarded the prestigious Richard Rodgers Grant and was a finalist for the Fred Ebb Award. A BMI-affiliated songwriter, Sid is a member of the BMI Advanced Musical Theatre Workshop, the American Federation of Musician’s Local 802 and The Dramatists Guild.
Josie McSwane
Choreographer
Josie McSwane is a New York based Dancer, Choreographer, Actor and Singer. She earned her BFA in Dance Studies from Long Island Post University and received her certification as an instructor for the Zena Rommett Floor-Barre® Technique.
Miss McSwane spent some time in Los Angeles where she focused on her hip-hop training and performed as a backup dancer for singer/songwriter Abrina. She had the opportunity to perform with the Martha Graham Dance company through a residency led by associate dance director, Susan Kikuchi. Ms. McSwane performed as a member of, formerly known, Broadhollow Theatre Company, and choreographed for some of their children’s theatre productions. She is a member of the Peconic Ballet Foundation Company and has performed with them at various locations on Long Island.
